Welcome to the website of renowned percussionist, Ameet Jugnauth.

Best known for his performances at Eclipse Bar and with his band ‘Taala’, Ameets’ wild and energetic style has made him one of the most sought after percussionists today.

Having played professionally for over three years now, Ameet has secured a strong reputation amongst several of London’s top bars and clubs and is well respected within the music industry.

He came onto the scene in 2003, becoming the resident percussionist at the well known Eclipse Bar on Walton Street in Chelsea. Playing there four nights a week Ameet developed a percussion style that was unique, and when combined with his energetic and quite often completely wild performances, became memorable.

He was soon spotted by the legendary Asian music producer, Kuljit Bhamra who took him under his wing and started to guide him to develop as a stronger percussionist and performer.

Some of Ameet’s most noted performances include the MTV Europe Music Awards 2003, Armani’s charity exhibition at the Royal Academy London and the Monaco Grand Prix 2005 after party at Le Bar American Casino Square Monaco.

Ameet also makes an appearance in Oliver Stone’s Alexander the Great.

Most recently, Ameet performed as an on stage percussionist in the 'World Touring Production' of 'Red, The Indian Dance Spectacular', giving performances described by the press as 'Impressive'. 'Wowing' and the 'Real thing'.
