Introducing exciting new rhythm workshops for children between the ages of 3 and 12.‘Discover’ workshops are designed to introduce children to the world of music and rhythm through drumming exercises, music presentations and singing. The workshops are led by renowned dance and world music percussionist, Ameet Jugnauth. Ameet has played all over the world at many top events and venues, and is currently working with his Indian Percussion band Taala.

Combining his University studies in Education, Ameet aims to meet the national curriculum requirements for Music whilst making the workshops interesting, fun and affordable.‘Discover’ workshops work on different aspects of music, including repetition, improvisation and performance encouraging children to explore, discover and express themselves through music.

In addition to the musical benefits the workshops are designed to increase a child’s confidence and self assurance. They are also a great channel for children to focus their youthful energy in a safe and appropriate environment. Workshops last for approximately 45 minutes. (If requested workshops can be tailored to introduce other instruments)
